Transaction Control Technologies (TCT), specializes in solving problems experienced by their customers, with specific emphasis on high-risk operations and asset protection.

We believe in adopting a holistic approach to deliver solutions that add value to the organization in more ways than one.

These solutions which emanate from in-house development as well as partnerships with overseas sources, include the safe- guarding of people, the securing of valuable goods and operations and protecting the integrity of the customer’s business whilst curbing losses and improving efficiencies.

Our History

TCT was established in 1993 and has since its earliest inception, gained and sustained the reputation for product excellence, quality and technical innovation.

Security is by virtue viewed as a measure that is grudgingly acquired in response to a perceived or clearly expressed threat. It can make processes more cumbersome making them prone to circumvention or being short-circuited by staff, resulting in wasting the initial investment and also generating a false sense of security.

This is why TCT advocate a Holistic approach to the design of solutions to ensure that the resulting systems work and truly add value to the organization.

Our History

TCT has developed a significant range of Blue Chip customers since its inception and has specifically served the Banking and Cash Handling and many other sectors with distinction since its early years of operation.

We have products and systems in place with ABSA Bank, Standard Bank, First National Bank, SBV Services (and other banks through SBV services)

We also have customers in various Government Departments, Para Statals and Mines. The Department of Justice, the Department of Internal Affairs, Eskom, Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA), the Police Forensics Laboratory, Impala Platinum, Cash Crusaders, The JD Group (Incredible Connection and Hifi Corporation), The Foschini Group, Browns Jewelers, Spar Group, BP Petrol Stations, Sasol, Woolworths to name some customers we service nationally.

Our foreign customers include the Reserve Bank of Botswana, the Reserve Bank of Namibia, First National Bank Mozambique, UBS Warburg in the UK and India and Julius Baer Private Bank in Singapore.

TCT have grown significantly in the Retail Sector over the past couple of years and have assisted many leading retail chains and individual businesses in dramatically cutting their losses.

We have service and maintenance agreements in place with all our major customers.

We ensure that their systems and products continuously evolve to meet changing environments and requirements, whilst retaining the integrity and security of the initial installation.

We have become Strategic Technology Partners with many of these companies and are invested in not only meeting the requirements as set out in the regulatory contracts but exceeding their expectations.


TCT is a Company that has a successful track record of Innovation as can be seen from the product portfolio above.

A significant number of products and concepts have been developed and patented/ filed for patent or had Design Registrations done.

Management Team

The TCT Management and support team is made up of specialists and professionals who have distinguished themselves in their specific fields of expertise which has given rise to an organization which boasts a proud track record of product, service and systems excellence both in Southern Africa and abroad.
TCT employs around 32 People and operates on a National footprint as well as undertaking projects in Africa and Abroad.

The Company

TCT’s ownership structure is in the process of changing. Its shares are currently solely held in the MWT share trust. We are at an advanced stage of introducing a BBBEE partner which will bring TCT to a level 2 compliancy status.

TCT geographic operations are predominantly South and Southern Africa, but we are open to pursuing opportunities in other countries where specific local partners will be identified and trained to deliver our unique solutions in products and services.

TCT’s track record of successfully bringing unique cost saving and risk reduction solutions to it customers for over 27 years and its ongoing innovation and introduction of state-of-the-art solutions has been attracting interest from potential investors.
